Horses/Ponies

Given that South OC Pony Club is a club and not a riding center, we do not own horses to be used by members during our lessons.  Each member is responsible for finding a suitable mount to ride.  Some members own their horses, some members lease their horses, and some members borrow horses pursuant to terms worked out between such members and the horse owners.  We will do our best to introduce you to persons who may have available mounts.  Prior to commencing lessons, our instructors will evaluate you and your mount to make sure it is a safe fit for pony club.

Some choose to join pony club just for the unmounted horse management training until they find a suitable mount to ride.
